The Service
ShootSm.art provides AI-assisted photography guidance — suggested camera settings, photo analysis, recipes, a learning encyclopedia, and a journal. Features may change or be discontinued at any time.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least [13/16] years old to use the Service.
AI guidance is a starting point — no guarantees
Settings, corrections, and analyses are AI-generated suggestions and estimates, intended as starting points. They may be inaccurate or incomplete, and some camera/lens data is community-sourced and unverified. Photography results depend on conditions we can't see. You are solely responsible for the settings you use and the shots you take. Always verify critical settings yourself (for example before a paid shoot or an irreplaceable moment). We are not responsible for missed shots, lost opportunities, or damage to equipment or property arising from reliance on the Service.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and notes you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you — including sending the necessary parts to our AI and hosting providers as described in the Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the rights to any content you upload and that it doesn't infringe others' rights or violate the law.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no attempting to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer it; no circumventing rate limits or security; no uploading unlawful, infringing, or harmful content; no using it to build a competing dataset.
Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design, and content (other than your content and third-party data) are owned by us or our licensors. Portions of the camera and lens data are derived from the Lensfun database under CC BY-SA 3.0 — see Attributions.
Affiliate disclosure
Some links to retailers may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission on qualifying purchases at no extra cost to you. This never changes the settings or gear we recommend based on your needs.
Third-party links
The Service may link to third-party sites and products we don't control and aren't responsible for.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchant- ability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, opportunities, or images, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or [USD 50].
